A list of all the spells/spell theory I create for my fanfiction, Against the Odds. It's part of my clean up attempt of all the old A/Ns that get included in FFNet's wordcount.
- Ostenero (combination of show='ostendo' and hurt= 'vulnero')- Simple spell that can tell a caster what injuries the patient has sustained in the form of coloured points on a shadowy mental outline of a human body. Best used by someone well versed in human anatomy.
- Oculus transeo(oculus= eyes, transeo= pass over)- Old spell used to hide a certain area e.g a wall safe, room entrance. It made a person's eyes completely pass over the spelled area making them ignore/forget the area. It went out of use because it's simple to detect when a group of wizards/thieves examined an area together. Its failure led to a dependence on banking with the Goblins, hence the reason the spell is found in a History of Magic book.
